Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is the most common chronic disease. This disease main risk factor for fatal diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke. As there no cure DM, an effective strategy must control it. Every attempt to DM patients’ outcomes require a surveillance system consider efficacy safety measures. Fasa Registry on (FaRD) first population-based registry in Iran, which aims provide accurate description of social, mental health, clinical, laboratory values patients order management patterns these discover degree adherence recommendations. Materials Methods: The level plasma glucose characterizes diagnosis diabetes (Type I II). pregnant women were excluded from this study. Three registrar nurses collected data demographics, physical exams, past medical history, medication findings. Results: pilot phase included 381 patients, 257 (67.5%) women, 124 (32.5%) men with mean age 57.54 ± 12.12 years among subjects, 347 (94.5%) cases had type 2, 20 (5.4%) ones 1. Conclusion: Based our results, characteristics suffering indicated that jobless could not afford their expenditures; therefore, majority adherent practice guidelines. achievement FaRD helps physicians improved DM. findings study show feasible, it will make comprehensive region.
